The stunning Grained Bog Oak Handle is crafted from old oak trunks lain in bogs or swaps for thousands of years. Dried using a complex drying process, the Bog oak is hard, tough, and high density that is comfortable to hold.
Diamond-Like Carbon coating increases the surface hardness from 58 to a unique 104 on the Rockwell scale. Extremely resistant to heat, Wusthof is the first knife manufacturer in the world to use this technology on a fully forged knife with a bolster.
